Official Rules – Author Marketing Survey Giveaway

1. Sponsor

This sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is sponsored by Elite Authors (“Sponsor”), located at 2800 Quarry Lake Dr #340, Baltimore, MD 21209

2. Eligibility

The Promotion is open to individuals who:

  • Are legal residents of the United States
  • Are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry
  • Are published authors of at least one book currently available for sale or download through a recognized platform (e.g., Amazon, IngramSpark, or a traditional publisher)

Void where prohibited.

Employees of Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility, including proof of authorship, prior to awarding any prize.

3. Promotion Period

The Promotion begins on May 1, 2026 at midnight and ends on July 1, 2026 at noon (the “Promotion Period”). All entries must be received during the Promotion Period. Sponsor reserves the right to extend the Promotion Period in its sole discretion. Any such changes will be posted in the Official Rules and on the Promotion page.

4. How to Enter

Method 1: Survey Entry

Eligible participants who complete the Author Marketing Survey during the Promotion Period will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Promotion.

Method 2: Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE) – No Survey Required

To enter without completing the survey, send an email to marketing@eliteauthors.com with the subject line “Author Survey Giveaway Entry” and include:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Book title
  • Link to a publicly accessible listing of your book
  • A statement confirming you are a published author and meet the eligibility requirements

Each eligible email submission will receive one (1) entry.

5. Entry Limits

Limit one (1) entry per person, regardless of method of entry. Multiple entries from the same individual may be disqualified.

6. Prizes

A total of 30 winners will be selected:

  • 5 winners – Free Manuscript Evaluation (Approximate Retail Value “ARV”: $399 each)
  • 5 winners – 5-Review Pack (ARV: $449 each)
  • 20 winners – 20% discount on a future purchase of Sponsor services (Maximum value $2,000; actual value depends on services purchased)

Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $44,240.

Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except at Sponsor’s discretion. No cash equivalents unless required by law.

7. Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

Winners will be notified via email within 90 days after the Promotion ends. If a selected winner does not respond within 30 days, Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

8. Verification of Eligibility

Potential winners may be required to provide proof of eligibility, including confirmation of authorship (e.g., matching author name, author profile, publisher listing, or similar documentation).

Failure to provide requested verification may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

9. Use of Data / Privacy

Survey responses will be used in aggregate to produce an industry insights report. Personal information collected in connection with the Promotion will be used in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy. 

Participation in the Promotion does not require consent to receive marketing communications. Participants may opt in separately to receive marketing emails.

10. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Promotion.

Sponsor is not responsible for:

  • Lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries
  • Technical or human error
  • Email delivery failures

11. Limitation of Liability

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates from any liability arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance/use of any prize.

12. Disputes

This Promotion is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Winners List

To request a list of winners, send an email to marketing@eliteauthors.com within 30 days after the Promotion Period ends.
